When the national chapter of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union wanted to create an instructor training program in the early 1950s, they asked him to do it. He helped raise standards in the industry and created uniformity within the apprentice and training programs. I'm so proud of my grandfather's contribution to making his union stronger.
