This carousel of photos here is of two of my friends, @arjandekock & @honngy, two sincerely world class rock climbers on a 5.8 route by my request so I could selfishly photograph it. Both Arjan and Matty climb grades in the 5.15 range and if you’re wondering what any of this means, it would be like asking fastest man on earth Usain Bolt to jog down the driveway to grab your mail so you could photograph him “running”. In other words, you could simply ask anyone who likes to jog to model for your picture. I should also note that Matty and Arjan also were asked to help me backpack in 6 @profotoglobal strobes + light-stands so I could light up the entire wall, in addition to their climbing gear of course. Thankfully they indulged me and were rewarded handsomely with a warm meal of fast food, as this was the only thing open by the time we hiked out and made it back to town. They also didn’t seem to care at all because it was just a good excuse to hang out. I’d love to say this was the only time I’ve done this but it would be a flat out lie.
