Top of the 12th. -
We started out on pitch 13 but could only navigate huge chunks of choss by headlamp. I looked down to my right and spotted this little ledge, nestled in to the cliff’s edge by a tree. We are only 3 pitches from the top but this seems like the safest option.

I have to admit I used to think professional climbers never ended up in the weird or unplanned circumstances that us novice climbers find ourselves in time to time. But I love in following you, we get to see you push yourself so hard and in such new adventures that you too end up shivering on the side of a cliff overnight. You are continually astounding and I am absolutely in awe. 💙. I want to be more like you! Catch that summit!!!
