We’re guessing this is not the first time you’ve seen a colorful pool float in your Instagram feed this summer. The trend of lounging on an inflatable unicorn, swan or pineapple — then sharing photographic evidence of it — shows no signs of deflating. Unlike luxury cars or designer clothing, floats are relatively accessible to the average person, not just celebrities and #influencers.
