jeharrah Just a heads up to anyone making purchases right now at @ikeausa. You may want to hold off until Ikea can get their shit together. Their customer service lines have been down for nearly a week. And there has been multiple cases *including my own* of items being shipped with missing packages. I bought a dresser two weeks ago and its been sitting in my room partially assembled because they are incapable of systematically managing inventory and following through with correcting their mistake. So if you purchase something you may not receive it and will go through a lot of trouble to rectify the issue. @wayfair @amazon are good alternatives

michelle.corinne I just got mine, started thumbing through it. EVERY featured story is about living in a teeny city apartment. @ikeausa , did you forget you have customers all over the country, not just NYC, and alot of us live in various sizes of homes, in the city, in suburbs, in the country? My 3000sq ft suburban home has an IKEA kitchen, and several IKEA pieces. Representation matters, and I don't see my life in of the first 100+ pages. Maybe I should grow up and stop shopping at IKEA....

cluneanne @the_flyingsquirrel I’m acutely aware that certain items are too costly to ship. But those are not the items that I am referencing. The entire Tankvard Collection is in their online catalog, but not available online ( as well as many other items). Tankvard includes throws, small baskets, duvets, pillowcases. Items that are easily shipped. That’s all I have to say on this topic. Don’t put items in your online catalog that can’t be ordered online. Thanks.

cluneanne @the_flyingsquirrel I understand the history & purpose of looking through catalogs. That was not my point. Many people ( including me) are not able to visit a local IKEA Store. Thus, we shop IKEA online. And why make certain items unavailable online. Make the whole online catalog available online. Doesn’t that make sense?

bef247 @ikeausa you have a sign at the Conshohocken store that you have them but they aren’t there. When will you get them?? And why don’t you just take down the sign?

cluneanne What's the point of looking through the catalogue when half the items I want are not available online? My nearest store is 100 miles away. So frustrating.
