While most famous for its beautiful beach whose giant waves attract surfers from around the world in late November, Nazare is a delight to walk, with glistening cobblestone streets and white houses lining the city's center. patriciaandschelly I was there two weeks ago for the third time and it's truly a wonderful village to visit. Breathtakingly beautiful. Come visit this country. São Martinho do Porto, Ericeira, Algarve, Porto, Serra da Estrela, Manteigas, Sintra, Geres, Óbidos. These are a few of my favorite places. The people, the cuisine, the local festivities in almost every village abound and every corner is fascinating. Explore Aldeias de Xisto. So much, so close. Totally worth it.

coppens01 I visited already several times this village, I love it, I did it once by stormy weather to look for the high waves and was blowed from my feet by the wind down to rocks. The waves were high, but not giant.. ❤️ ❤️ 👍 👍
