Photo by @andrea_frazzetta | “Las Estrellas,” a tiny island with in the San Blas Archipelago, is famous for its seabeds populated by starfish. The archipelago of San Blas consists of hundreds of small islands. Approximately 365 islands and cays, of which only 49 are inhabited. They lie off the north coast of the Isthmus of Panama, east of the Panama Canal. A part of the comarca (district) Guna Yala along the Caribbean coast and home to the Kuna Indians. dhansen4homes @natgeotravel I’m sure you know this already but you are so fortunate to be able to travel the world and document it. You must pinch yourselves every morning you wake up! No doubt it isn’t always easy but my guess is you would not trade your travels for anything ever!

papasbajagirl We traveled here by bus (an experience in itself!?) while in Bocas. Had a great time though we never saw starfish. Such a beautiful beach & country!! We can’t wait to return.
