This is how she asks for things: Hand open, as if what she wants is yearning to embrace her right back. We get so stuck in our stories... the things we “should” get, the things we “deserve”... What if we scrapped all those “lessons” we’ve learned along the way and instead went with the narrative that what we want... wants us back?

red_fairy20 Did you know babies can express themselves naturally thru gestures and sign language? Some can sign/gesture before they speak. My son could sign “cookie, more, eat” etc before he could speak. It’s pretty amazing!
