It’s temporary and an essential ingredient to growth. Not everything has to be a thrill-a-minute. It’s all a part of it! We forded rivers. We slipped and fell in bottomless holes of mud. We camped on a freezing riverbed with sand flies biting the crap out of us. We also laughed more than ever, came up with a million inside jokes, took nature pees at every possible moment, sang songs, rafted down a river, summited an alpine peak, climbed many, many miles- including free range trekking down 3k feet...and so much more!
