Hi everyone! The #EBOnTheRoad Trip is still in full swing as we cruise from Idaho to Washington State. We had the pleasure of hiking and climbing with Eddie Bauer Mountain Guide @erikleidecker over the past couple of days and we picked up some great advice to share with you guys for #TrailTripTuesday.
“I hike with lightweight trekking poles almost every day I go into the mountains. They help me stay upright and balanced and are super useful for tricky creek or log crossings. Also in the event of a sprained knee or ankle they can double as crutches and in a pinch can be used to splint a broken bone. Most importantly, however, is they really take the load off my knees on long steep downhills like the descent of Mt. Borah, the highest peak in Idaho!”
