What’s your usual means of transport?
Did you know Melbournes’s entire tram system is now powered by 100% renewable energy from large scale solar plants in the north of Victoria?
Trams on Swanston Street carry more people to and from Melbourne each day than all the cars that travel along 10 lanes of the West Gate Bridge.
It’s not just Melbourne’s trams, either. The council’s street lights, libraries, gyms, childcare centres and council buildings are also 100% clean and green! 💚
So awesome to see local and state governments stepping up to the challenge!
Now we need to tackle the rest of our transport system which is still stuck in the slow lane.

@thereal_magroover we’re moving to Melbourne, so much more friendlier for the environment and hopefully the 5G is being fought against more with like minded people. Not keen to live on the coast with all this radiation anymore :(

That is Awesome @isabellucas I am so happy to hear that my hometown is working towards making a difference. Now living in the U.S I wish other cities here would follow suit like Melbourne. No more excuses.
