If you haven’t been, @tulumrestaurant in Melbourne make KILLER manti! Not sure if true, but the story goes that mothers would make their potential daughters-in-law fold these by hand. If they could get them so small that 40 would fit on one spoon, they’d win the family’s approval.

@nigellalawson would love for you to try food from the Gulf region. @villamamaslondon is probably the only Middle Eastern restaurant in London that specializes in such cuisine, or if you are ever in Dubai, I’d recommend a list of local restaurants/dishes for you to try.

Not wanting to be political, but I MUCH prefer the Armenian version of this dish ??? Trust me on this one, the Mante is baked rather boiled so it has a crunch that is beautifully counterbalanced by the garlic infused yogurt and sprinkled with sumac ????

@kerrylouisedan no it’s not allepo pepper, if it was than we would call it ‘halep biber’. ‘Pul biber’ simply means ‘pepper flakes’ and it has many different variants from all over Turkey and all of Central Asia.

@nigellalawson so good but so much work if you wanna make it at home ? For those who don’t know: this “ravioli” is so tiny like one quarter of the size of a ravioli. needs much time and patience preparing it ?
