In light of that, and inspired by #cafeanalogtalk (though a few days off) I thought it would be fun to share some random tidbits. Here goes! . 1. One of my bucket list items that I’ve been fortunate to check off was driving from the east to west coast in the US and twirling in the Pacific Ocean upon arrival. I did just that. It was incredible. 🛣🌊 . 2. I love to run for the joy of it and for self-care. Athletics was a huge part of my life. Field hockey, my number one for 7 years. Track, a close second. Basketball, lacrosse, and soccer following. 🏑🏃🏻‍♀️ . 3. I interned as a speech writer on Capitol Hill for 2 years and one of the speeches I wrote was published in the Congressional Record. ✍🏼📃 . 4. Ip Man is a favorite movie. Side note: he was Bruce Lee’s king fu teacher. I love this quote: “Though people have different status in life, everybody’s dignity is the same.” 🥋🙏🏼 . 5. While I have a penchant for fancy brick oven pizza as shown, a plain slice of cheese is my all-time favorite. 🍕🍽 . 6. I have a ritual of getting cheesy gas station mementos when road tripping. 🗺⛽️ . 7. Today I heard J.K. Rowling’s story for the first time from her heartbreaking hardships to becoming one of the world’s best-selling authors. I love stories like this. 🥀🌹 . 8. I have a weakness for quality sun hats.
