I always assumed that National Geographic, as one of the most environmentally aware media providers, would be against the existence of golf courses, mainly because golf courses waste tons of water daily just for the pleasure of few rich people. It really makes you question integrity.

This must be the most boring @natgeotravel picture I’ve ever seen - 3 blokes playing golf on a featureless patch of grass. Even the sea behind them is boring. As well as golf courses not being great environmentally, how is this photo “uniquely Jersey” and not anywhere else?

? Golf clubs are "clean water monsters". The amount of water spent by one of them is equal to the amount necessary for 10,000 people!
