My mom always said to use a wooden spoon when mixing in the dry ingredients ... now learning from you that overmixing it will overdevelop the gluten - I’m so excited to tell her she’s been doing it the professional way all these years and that there’s (yet another!) reason to all her tricks!!

Ghirardelli are SO much better. I used Toll House chips for years but something changed a couple of years ago. My recipe remained the same but cookies not as good. My aunt is a wonderful baker and she agrees. We made the switch and they taste so much better!

The link for the recipe isn’t working! I’ve got a 5 yr old here who saw the video this morning with me whose been asking for these all day! HELP! ? I don’t remember how much chocolate chips you put in!

If I’m going to bake these before traveling and bring them as a hostess gift, should I freeze after baking? Or just keep room temp since they’ll thaw out on the flight anyways ?

I was one’s told that a cut up onion should always be put away and cover in the fridge . Outside cut and open it absorbs bacteria in the air.
