Is it just me or is EVERYONE sick with a cold at the moment in Australia haha😷 (INCLUDING ME)? I’ve just recovered from a 2-day cold which knocked me around a little and it really reminded me how hard it can be to get back into a routine. If you’ve been ill, injured or lacking in motivation, here are a few of my top tips for bouncing back into your fitness routine:⠀

✅ Don’t be so hard on yourself - Let go of the guilt! Focus on your excitement to get started.⠀
⠀
✅ Take It Slow - Make sure you start out slow. Listen to your body and take it one day at a time.⠀
⠀
✅ Prepare - Plan it out. Take some time to write down how many days a week you want to exercise and schedule the time into your calendar in advance.⠀

✅ Start Fresh - One of my BIGGEST tips when it comes to fitness is finding something that you actually enjoy. There are so many ways to workout, find one that makes you happy!⠀

✅ Find Your Motivation - Get motivated! It isn’t always easy but the key is to treat exercise as part of your routine and make it a habit (just like washing your hair).⠀

I don’t know who read this but I want you to know that you loved. There are people out there that going to make you feel like there is something wrong with you. If it’s your religion, the one you love, the color of your skin or even the way you dress. But let me tell you something : YOU ARE Beautiful ! And what makes you beautiful is that you are different from others. Be unique, be who you want to be. Take out of your life the people who makes you feel like there is something wrong with you, friends and even family because those people don’t know how special you are. And if you feel alone or that life can’t get better I promise to you that it will get better. I hope you will find your happiness because you deserve it ?❤️?

Hmm... Have you thought about adding this as an option to the app and for what to do about it? Like just marking something for “illness” or “injury”? Just a thought that could be helpful for ladies to not beat themselves up for when it rolls over into the next week incomplete ?

I started BBG on Monday, got my period on Tuesday and it's been incredibly painful, I tried to carry on with day 2 but the period pain is insane! I can't wait for this horrid time of the month to pass so I can start again
