We asked 21 Democratic presidential candidates 18 questions and got their answers on camera. In the quick clip above, we asked them about their views on gun ownership. Democrats have largely converged on a moderate, consensus view of gun control, focused on tightening background checks and banning military-style weaponry. We wanted to get at a deeper question of values — who thinks there are good reasons to own guns, and who thinks we’d be better off without them altogether. Click the link in our bio for the full answers to all 18 questions.

A better question would be “Would you want our personal security to carry firearms or not” bet the answer would be a definite yes every time?

‘‘Tis better to remain mute and be thought a fool; than to speak and remove all doubt”... the dems would be wise to remember that...

There is something so seriously wrong in the American psyche. We don’t own guns. We’re absolutely fine without hen. #australia

They’re all wrong. Handguns shooting and sportsmanship is much more enjoyable than the boring debate amongst Dems.

Ideal world? In an ideal world there will be no hunger, no homelessness, no crime. C'mon. Let's get real.

What about we start asking if in a real world do we need guns? I, at least live in a real world
