For young recovering addicts, watching “Euphoria" can be so intense it causes goosebumps. That was the case for M., 24, who watched the new HBO show with N., 23, at a rehab center in Brooklyn. In “Euphoria,” @ゼンデイヤ plays Rue, a stumbling, manipulative teenage drug addict, and M. and N.’s first reaction was that the show gave a realistic depiction of how Rue felt so amazing on drugs but looked like a wreck. M. hated the idea of, say, her younger sister watching the show because she thought it normalized heavy drug use, but on the other hand it accurately displayed something that, for her at least, rang true. “Maybe having just gone through a lot of that stuff, I don’t want other people to,” she said. “It’s a delicate balance.” Read more at the link in our bio. @victorblue shot these photos.

Watching Euphoria in a rehab facility is a major contradiction. It’s a trigger, indeed. But Zendaya KILLS IT! And this show is important and portrays real life high school issues. ♥️

Fictional account or not, people who are addicted to drugs don't need further stigmatization. They are people with addictions, not addicts. #stigmaendswithme
