Angela Merkel’s grip on Europe has weakened; the U.K. is bogged down in internal chaos. This leaves Emmanuel Macron as the most influential head of state in the European Union, an institution that he is passionately committed to reinvigorating. “We will not agree on everything, that’s normal, it’s democracy,” Emmanuel Macron told Lauren Collins. “But at least we will show that we are a people who are not afraid to speak, to exchange, to debate.” Tap the link in our bio for more on Emmanuel Macron, the most transformative French President in decades. Can't believe the NYM published such nonsense. Macron isn't transformative, on the contrary he's unable to hear, let alone understand, what's happening in France. His views on Europe are stereotypical and narrow-minded. He's certainly the most contemptuous president we've had in decades. Don't believe the hype.

Ridiculous placement. Macron got immediately weak after his election. In fact, the only powerful figure in E.U. is Salvini, a person who dislikes E.U. This is absolute absurdity.

We need to remember that the US news has always gives less information on what’s going on the rest of the world and when it’s is interested in it gives only a little.

We just love worshiping people... macron blows. They whole borderless agenda is the cause for disarray, yet we want to model Europe for some reason

Another lopsided view of Europe from Amercica, your comment is so far from the truth it’s laughable

The french tyrant who throw grenades and rubber bullets on the French protesters. Shame on macron
