5 days. 85 miles. 20,000’ peaks. @LynseyDyer & @DrewTabke ditched their skis to join alpine guide @AdrianBallinger on the trek of a lifetime around the beautiful mountain lakes of Huayhuash, Peru. Link in bio with full story, photos, & more.

Adrian, Lynsey and Drew’s 85 mile trek through the Cordillera Huayhuash began with two days in the city of Huaraz to get acclaimed to the Andean elevation. This was an essential step, because once in the Cordillera, their first camp would be above 13,000 ft.

Ordinarily groups take 10 days on the trek. The Eddie Bauer team cut the time in half, and over the course of their 5-day journey, they crossed six high passes, including the highest Cuyoc Pass at 16,44 feet above sea level. Full story linked in bio.
