The drive back home was lonely and long. It was meant to be one of my best weekends but then I messed everything up. I turned my phone faced down hoping that whenever I pick it, I’d see a new message from her but that never happened throughout the trip home. I got home and then tried what we used to do. Chioma : K * Even until today in our marriage, K is never used unless we are fighting so seeing ‘K’ meant that my message didn’t do much as expected but I still had to try* Nobs : Baby, did you get my message? Chioma: Yup Nobs : You know you have used ‘K’ and ‘Yup’ yo respond to my messages but you complain when I do it. Chioma: Do you really think you have any right to complain right now? She didn’t say what the issue was, she wouldn’t talk about it and wasn’t responding to my messages even when I could see her online. I checked my phone for a message from her and that didn’t happen until about 11pm . Chioma : Clean slate, pick up in the morning so we can go get a SIM card for my phone.
