I wore extensions for years, but have finally given them up. Wrinkles around my eyes and if you zoom in you’ll see that one eye is much smaller than the other. You’ll also see I have a big scar on my neck from when I had a golf-ball sized cyst on my thyroid. I can look at this picture and pick those things apart, but what I really see when I look at this picture is that I can’t get over how awesome it is to be these girls’ mom. They make me feel like there is nothing I can’t do. That I’m so incredibly thankful to be right here, right now. That even when I’m old and flabby I will never stop putting on a swimsuit and jumping in the ocean. That God has taken me on some great adventures, and I’m excited to see what’s around the corner.
