I’m going to be honest, there have been some years I just didn’t want to do it. Kids were grouchy, husband wasn’t much help, I didn’t feel like taking a shower 😜 but every year one of the us rally’s the troops and we all manage to put on something nice and walk down to the beach at sunset to take pics, and every year I’m so thankful that we do!! It always ends up being a special night where, after the pics are taken, cousins throw the football or bury one another in the sand. Keeping traditions alive isn’t always easy, but always worth it.
