j_amicaa Since you call yourself a “ feminist “, could you please speak up for those voiceless women who live under Shria law? because according to Shria law, women inherit less than men, two women testimony is equal to one men testimony, Muslim men have the right to marry 4 wives but women don’t have the same thing, it’s mentioned in the Islamic interpretations that men have the right to beat women, Muslim women can’t contract their own marriages without a male relatives ( brother- son- or a father) permission , and finally hijab is not a CHOICE; it’s the most visible symbol of women’s oppression and it’s something that has been used by men to control our bodies and it’s against our feminist movement in the Middle East and Islamic world so please don’t support it in the name of freedom because it’s not freedom. It’s a brainwashing system. Women in Iran go to jail for simply not covering their hair.

j_amicaa To all the feminist who live in the west, you have to understand this: under Shria and Islamic laws, men have the right to inherit more than women, marry 4 wives with unlimited number of sex slaves, beat women up, men have the right for marital rape, lash women for drinking alcohol and committing adultery, and also they have the right not to wear hijab only women who wear hijab in Islam but not men. This is sexist and disgusting and has to be stopped.
