Today, The Duchess of Cornwall carried out engagements in East Sussex.
HRH first visited @charlestontrust to open the restored barns and new galleries, following completion of the Charleston Centenary Project. During the visit, HRH viewed Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant’s ‘Famous Women Dinner Service’, a set of 50 plates depicting famous women throughout history.
Next, The Duchess visited @jamies_farm in Lewes to celebrate the charity’s 10th anniversary. HRH has been Patron of Jamie’s Farm since 2014 and has visited 4 of their 5 farms.
HRH then joined the East Sussex Women of the Year Lunch, which is made up of 250 women working in voluntary or professional roles in East Sussex. The Duchess has been Honorary Patron of the Lunch since 2011.
Finally, The Duchess visited @ridgeviewwineuk , a family run sparkling wine business, which recently won ‘International Winemaker of the Year’, making history as a first for English wine.
