With ENDLESS distractions at our fingertips, it can be VERY difficult to maintain healthy sleep habits 📱😁🙊 Here are some of my top tips to help you wind down before bed:
✅Get ready for tomorrow - I like to write my to-do list for the next morning and lay my clothes out ready to go!
✅Stretch - A few minutes spent stretching and breathing deeply can increase the flow of blood to your muscles and assist with your body's recovery.
✅Have a cup of tea - Try a calming herbal tea like chamomile.
✅Get comfortable - Whatever you wear to bed, make sure you are COMFORTABLE.
✅Skincare routine - Completing my skincare routine lets my brain know I'm ready for bed. Also leave me feeling super fresh in the morning!
✅Quiet your mind - I can't recommend enough putting down your phone, laptop, tablet etc!!! Technology can affect your ability to fall asleep by keeping your brain active.
