Dance: ‘the movement of the body in a rhythmic way.’
a conversation.
the catalyst for refinement and uncovering.
a relationship with the body.
a relationship with the mind.
a relationship that has revealed to me that the mind and the body are no different.
an excuse to draw toward perfection...yet the path has led to a perfect crumbling of all I have thought I needed to be.
I am left with a sense of listening,
a listening to the natural rhythm within:
a beating heart
expanding lungs
buzzing feet
and a shimmying stomach.
Thank you body for “dancing” me into confusion, curiosity, and eventually healing. “Dancing” me closer to a home that is eager for pure connection. Taking me on a journey of getting to know the rhythm that I am individually and universally built upon.
