My surgeon initially said it would be three months until I even started gently exercising. In reality my body was ready to start rehab exercises 5 weeks post op. And now at the 3 month mark? I’m pretty much back to my previous strength, which is crazy! 🥳 In terms of rehab, now I am just doing clinical pilates at @complete_pilates to strengthen my core and also scar rehab and manipulation with @lvb_physio👌🏼 I have to thank my pre-surgery self for living such a healthy lifestyle as that is what set me up for a successful recovery. And my post-surgery self for remaining positive and proactive. Honestly, it is incredible what your body does for you when you treat it with love and respect.
