Under a bright blue sky, the red rocks hoodoos at #BryceCanyon #NationalPark stand out against a blanket of #snow. Soon the snow will melt, but there is more change at this #Utah park than just the skies and the seasons. The same process that created these stunning rock formations will ultimately destroy them. The average rate of erosion is calculated to advance as much as 4 feet in 100 years. Towers will topple and the rough will become smooth. While we can't stop this inevitable fate, humans can help to preserve the park's existing hoodoos by keeping to the trails.
