Despite the calendar telling us it’s spring, signs of winter persist at #Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. One of the most astounding of these seasonal sights is the ephemeral ice dam at the base of Lower Falls. The natural wall of ice and snow forms every winter and can grow to over 100 feet tall. This picture -- taken in early March -- shows the ice dam standing in front of the 308 foot-tall waterfall. That’s so cool. Photo @YellowstoneNPS by Jacob W.
