I share journal musings, often from the heart, and my inspiration is drawn from life experiences, love, nature and good books. I started journaling when I was 7 years old though I took a hiatus for several years. I don’t know how I get into a “flow” other than making it a daily practice and just picking up the pen and writing. Sometimes I doodle or draw and other times if I’m dry on inspiration but am in that journaling mood, I simply pen quotes that inspire me. I’ve found that creating movement in that way helps me overcome writer’s block. . My career experience from many moons ago entailed interior decor (shops, galleries and homes) and facilitating creative workshops. Right now my biggest passion is product design, photography, journaling, and most of all creating adventures with my family. My father passed away last year, I moved across the country, so I’ve been on a journey invoking incredible change and have learned and am still learning the art of adjustment, letting go, building up and discovering beauty in the midst. . My go-to journaling supplies are fountain pens, pencils, dip pens, watercolors, washi, ephemera and stamps. I love traveler’s notebooks, leather journals by @pegandawl, Tomoe River Paper and my Vagabond Notebook that I had the honor to co-design with one of my favorite brands @franklinchristoph. . My favorite color is a secret though I like wearing all black and I favor deep earth tones. My favorite flowers are field daisies, orchids, roses, peonies, sunflowers, wildflowers... okay I just like them all. . So that’s all I can fit here for now!
