Photo by @クリス・バーカード | There are only a few place on the planet that I would call truly ‘wild’ and this is one of them. I had obsessed about this place since 2013 during my first trip where we barely scratched the surface. In 2018 I returned and as we flew below the clouds I could not believe my eyes. After all the planning, weather, lack of sleep and a short moment of panic as gas flew out of the wing upon take off, I had to just take a moment and realize that this place is real and far more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It was so overwhelming that I teared up on the plane. Every time I look at these photos or think back to this day it will always feel like a dream.
