Every day for more than a year Bethann Parker has turned The New York Times into art. The Pennsylvania reader said she started doing this on a whim after picking up her morning paper and feeling inspired. “It was my immediate reaction to work” on it, she said. “I just followed my instincts, and I think that so often an idea, if we just trust it, it will grow.” She said the art creates a conversation about how Americans receive and respond to the news.
