‘QUESTI SIAMO NOI’. Read the interview with @ethanjamesgreen by @chiaranonino in our March issue and via link in bio. ‘At the beginning, I posed for David Armstrong, but when I told him I’d like to be a photographer, he told me I could shoot at his house. [...] When I finally got my first online assignment, I shot it at David’s. After I took the first picture, and I was editing on my computer, he walked in the room: he freaked out. He was so excited! I asked him if I could assist him sometime, so I started working for him. Before he moved back to Massachusetts, I helped him organize a sale of his archive photos. I was really struck by images in “The Silver Cord,” portraits in black and white, shot in parks or in his friends homes. That is when I decided to stop shooting models and look for people with their own style, an interesting face. The equivalent of his friends for my generation.’ #EthanJamesGreen
