The Prince of Wales held an #Investiture at #BuckinghamPalace yesterday.
Police Officers Samuel Balfour and Nicholas Carlisle who were involved in the London Bridge terror attack, received The Queen’s Police Medal.
Congratulations to Scottish Violinist Nicola Benedetti, who received a #CBE in recognition of her international music career and work with musical charities in the UK.
Gillian Wearing was awarded a #CBE for services to art. In 2018, a bronze statue by Wearing, commemorating the life of the suffragist Millicent Fawcett, was erected in London’s Parliament Square.
For services to Disadvantaged Women through Employment Skills Training, Joanna Hunter, Honorary Treasurer and Co-Founder of Smart Works, collected an #OBE today.
The Duchess of Sussex is Patron of Smart Works. The charity provide women with clothing and coaching ahead of job interviews – in 5 years they saw 11,000 people and 60% got the job.
