Today, The Duke of Sussex was in Birmingham, where he unveiled a memorial to those affected by the two attacks in Tunisia in 2015.
The Sousse and Bardo Memorial, made up of 31 individual streams, each one representing the British nationals who lost their lives — will be a place of remembrance, commemoration and reflection for families of those injured and killed in the terrorist attacks in Tunisia in 2015.
Following the dedication ceremony, The Duke of Sussex met some of the families affected by the attacks at the Bardo Museum in March 2015 and in the resort of Port El Kantaoui, Sousse in June 2015.

Later, His Royal Highness visited the Scar Free Foundation’s new centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital — which will support the creation of bespoke psychological interventions to help veterans and their families adjust to living with an altered appearance such as physical scarring or limb loss.
The centre’s new study UNITS (Understanding Needs and Interventions for the Treatment of Scarring), will involve over 200 veterans from recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and aims to better understand and address the psychological needs of military personnel affected by appearance altering conflict wounds.
