“To become a Knight is something you can’t even dream about,” Cricketer Alastair Cook said after he received a Knighthood for services to the sport.
“I can’t put it into words, it’s been a very special morning,” he added.
Today, The Queen presided over an Investiture at Buckingham Palace.
Congratulations to everyone who received their Honours today including Anthony van Laast who received a CBE for services to Dancing and Choreography, and Actor Sophie Okonedo was also presented with a CBE for services to Drama.
