The Prince of Wales presided over an Investiture today at Buckingham Palace.
Amongst today’s recipients was Police Constable Jessica Bullough, who received The Queen’s Police Medal for her work during the Manchester Arena attack. PC Jessica was one of the first responders who administered first aid to the seriously injured and continued to provide support throughout the night.
Wing Commander Kevin Gatland from the Royal Air Force received an #OBE - Kevin was the Project Officer for the RAF 100 flypast last July as part of the @RoyalAirForce Centenary celebrations.
Also today, British rower Frances Houghton received an #MBE. Frances competed for Great Britain from the age of 14 to 35, winning four World titles and three Olympic Silver medals – she was the first British woman to be selected for five Olympic Games (Sydney 2000 to Rio 2016).
