We went exploring through the wild wild woods today which involved going off the trail, romping past the thickets, climbing over fallen tree trunks to get across the creek and skipping stones (one of my very favorite things to do). All in all a day of bliss for me. And a new adventure for my #vagabondnotebook. And yes, I plucked weeds and plants and pressed them in my notebook as precious mementos. And I may have collected a few smooth flat stones to skip at a later time. Oh and we discovered that ticks are hardcore in these parts and somehow survived through winter. Thankfully no bites.
