I used to look at this dress in my Mum’s wardrobe with a combination of awe and confusion... it was so amazing but why didn’t she wear it anymore? Looking at it now, i understand that it must have been a massive colour statement which she had moved on from by the 80’s. But I always loved it and then about 10 years ago I rescued it from the car boot sale bag...and that little red tomato on my table arrangement today reminded me of it, and made me want to share it! ???
