Holiday Mondays are an interesting day. I’m in Toronto today, so it’s one of those days. It means that a lot of people have a day off from their job and can sleep in and chill, do other activities, work on their own side hustles, or just spend the day however they want. But, when your side hustle IS your job, THEN what?

Holiday Mondays mean something different for me. Because the life of an artist, and the music industry itself, doesn’t stop. It’s a normal working Monday for me, except in a bit of a different way. It tends to be a day allocated more to the creative and personal planning and improvement side of things, as there are less emails and business stuff popping up on holiday Mondays.
So, I enjoy my holiday Mondays just the same! It’s a day for me to wear cozy sweaters and curl up with my laptop and light some scented candles (today’s is Crackling Firewood Ember from Indigo) and get some work done on my own schedule. I love what I do, so I choose to do it- holiday Mondays included!

So, whether you’re skiing, surfing, studying, or sleeping today, make it a good day and a day WON!
