Like many works by @justin_peck, his new “Principia” is immediately arresting. Such images and formations have been the most conspicuous proof of Justin’s uncommon talent since he began choreographing for @nycballet in 2012. “Principia,” which had its debut at the David H. Koch Theater last Thursday, is his 17th ballet for the company, and it shares much with those he’s made before. Our critic Brian Seibert called the performance “youthful, ardent, inventive, sincere.” Though Brian notes that soloist Claire Kretzschmar might be said to define the work’s sunny spirit, no one stands out for long due to the robust performance. @andrea_mohin took this photo of Tiler Peck and a fellow member of the ballet during the performance.
