For my one thousandth Instagram post, here’s a throwback to one of the most popular and strangest photographs - Morning stretch at West Lake in Hangzhou: In China it is common to see elderly people practicing Tai Chi, exercising, and stretching in parks around the country. In fact, most have not exercised seriously until after retirement and are in better shape than many younger, but something tells me stretching is not new to this silver-haired gentleman. #WestLake #Hangzhou #stretch #stretching @natgeofineart @natgeoimagecollection
