This comment was posted on our educational facebook ad post that we did last week. The ad was targeted to West Michigan and we asked people in this area if their declawing vet had told them the truth that declawing is a mutilating amputation procedure that harms the health and well-being of cats. It also showed a photo of the amputated toe bones and claws. . We asked this woman what she was referring to and to please let us know what was a lie but she never responded. So we sent a respectful private message to her asking her for more info about her comment. She said that she didn’t have to explain anything to us. We were very concerned about her comment since if it was about the info in our post and we always post facts and the truth. We don’t mind people commenting on our posts but when you accuse us of lying, this is a very serious issue. Our nonprofit is all about facts and the truth about this barbaric amputation procedure. We DO NOT post lies. We wanted an answer so we sent her a couple more respectful requests to answer our simple question, and she accused us of harassment and said she would contact the police. She finally answered the question and said, “I made that comment for any people that are clueless to what goes on. They think vets just take their toes right off and it doesn’t happen. There is nothing wrong with declawing a cat. If there was then they wouldn’t do it. Veterinarians don’t try to purposely harm animals. And guess what, every cat I’ve ever had was declawed AND THEY WERE FINE AND ARE STILL ALIVE AND HEALTHY.” ?? So you see, this shows how so many cat owners are being deceived by their unethical declawing vets who make easy and good money from mutilating and harming innocent and healthy cats. ???? These cat owners get angry at US for posting the awful truth that they just don't want to accept. It's just so sad because they don't want to believe that they harmed and mutilated their beloved cats. . Folks, please join us and help us end declawing.
