So this is where we were- @anandainthehimalayas ??It’s an incredibly special place, a gem perched at the foothills of the Himalayas. Its landscape is stunning, lush and tranquil, with peacocks and monkeys roaming throughout the grounds. Every day was clear and sunny, the winter air cold and clean and fresh. It felt so good to be there, so far from the noise and mayhem of the world. This is the music pavilion, which was gorgeous. Apparently the monkeys love that reflecting pool in the summer. They are hilarious and full of mischief, and the only thing you really have to watch out for up there is them trying to steal your fruit. Otherwise, it’s a deeply peaceful place.
