Photos by @michaelclarkphoto // Ghost Light. While waiting for the swell last week in Maui I had several days to explore remote parts of the island I hadn’t seen on previous trips. The roads on the north side of the island are super narrow and some of the curviest roads I have ever driven. The distances weren’t that far but the curvy roads took hours to navigate. I don’t get car sick but my stomach wasn’t loving the curvy roads. As can be seen here the black sand beach at the end of the road was pretty wild. Get up at 3 AM, drive for three hours, arrive just before sunrise in the dark and then get to work. The life of a photographer doesn’t include much sleep. #maui #ghost #hana
