F R U I T Queen! ??‍♀️ Back to the topic because I got so many DMs about fruit on the last one asking if it was ‘ok’ to eat because it contained sugar?! - Ok soooo first off - um we all need carbs and carbs are not the Devil. I feel like I needed to say that. - Secondly, yes fruit has sugar but it also contains FIBER! Fruit encompasses a significantly large portion of my daily food intake. If you have a 'trainer' telling you not to eat it because it's going to 'get you fat', please run for the hills ? - I look at food in terms of its nutritional benefit and what it can do for my body rather than 'how many calories it contains'. I don't believe in counting calories and I don't believe in counting macros (I'll do a full post on this but just because it fits your macros doesn't mean it's good for you or your digestive system!) - Fad diets simply lead to eating disorders, unhealthy relationships with food and weight GAIN in the long run. Fruit doesn't cause weight gain and carbs don’t cause weight gain. What causes weight gain is over eating and restricting yourself to the point that you lose control and devour everything in sight aka BINGES ??‍♀️ - Looking good is secondary and comes automatically. Having a healthy relationship with your body is ALWAYS the priority and marks the difference between people who can maintain their bodies for life and those who fall off the wagon from temporary 'quick fixes'! - #WorkHardPlayHard ??
