Photo by @jimrichardsonng Northwest Scotland looks like very wild country from atop Sgorr Tuath in Assynt — and it is! But Scotland has a lot of such territory. I’m looking out from the 2,944th highest mountain in Scotland. Across the valley is Stac Pollaidh (Stack Polly) that has an excellent trail. The Scottish Moors offer great wilderness experiences, but they are also challenged by conflicting views of future uses.
