Before I discovered fountain pens, the pencil was my first love of writing instruments and has never been lost on me. I’ve generally had a particular penchant with the simplicity of a wooden pencil but I have found the pencil of all pencils that takes the cake: the Model 90 Artium Artist Pencil by @franklinchristoph. The most comfortable to hold with interchangeable 3.15 lead, not to mention the sleekest bad mamma jamma design. I picked this one up at the DC Pen Show and it was my favorite find of the show even though it’s #notafountainpen.
