I have the most supportive and loving friends who are able to help make humor out of a dark situation. A few years ago a girl started impersonating me on social media, stealing content that was made for me, reposting photos I took, recreating my selfies, copy/pasted my captions and bios on every platform, rephrased things I’ve said in videos, not only stole my name but even stole the names of my cats and their siblings born in the same litter, they searched for every single detail of me that is possible to find online in order to wear my skin. They’ve scrolled back as far as 8 years on my Facebook as well as people I’ve known or dated in order to steal content I’ve made with others, they followed and stalked the actions of every person I follow or post with, even my own parents social accounts. I overlooked this for years thinking it didn’t feel right but theres nothing I can do accept ignore their advances and let them get bored or grow into their own person with time, I wanted to empathize with their self esteem issues or mental health that may be causing them to act this way. Little did I know they would only grow more violent the closer they tried to get to me.. I never would have thought the situation would have escalated to a legal level in order to feel safe. Today my amazing detective closed the case with reassurance that I can finally be free of my tormentor. After years of abuse and violating feelings from this person I’m finally on my way to getting a restraining order against the girl who stalked myself and my family, sent me relentlessly death threats every day, slandered and harassed me or others in every tagged photo anyone would share of me, harass anyone who knew me or featured me in their content, went after the companies who I promoted to sabotage any connections I had, pretended to live in the same low population town as me being where I was and when, making me feel unsafe to stream or do what I love. I’m making an informational video for others who may be going through what I did, I’m also working with a clothing line to make shirts for the video so we can donate the money to a charity that I feel best reflects this situation ♡
